The 3rd International Conference on Sustainable Business (ICSB2027) invites original research papers, case studies, conceptual papers, policy analyses, and industry insights on the theme “Resilience, Responsibility & Regeneration.” Scheduled on February 5–6, 2027 at the World Skill Center, Bhubaneswar, India.The conference seeks to bring together scholars, practitioners, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and students from across the globe to deliberate on sustainable solutions for contemporary economic, social, environmental, and technological challenges.
As the organizations navigate climate risks, technological disruptions, geopolitical uncertainties, and evolving stakeholder expectations, there is a growing need for resilient systems, responsible governance, and regenerative business practices. ICSB2027 provides a multidisciplinary platform to discuss innovative research and practical strategies that can shape sustainable futures. Contributors are encouraged to submit papers addressing emerging trends, challenges, opportunities, and transformative practices in business, management, economics, public policy, technology, and sustainability.
Selected high-quality papers will be considered for publication opportunities in reputed journals and edited volumes, subject to peer review and publisher guidelines. Special best research paper awards will be given to best two presented papers (based on novelty, quality and potential impact) by ORSI.
The theme of ICSB2027 reflects the evolving priorities of organizations operating in an increasingly uncertain and interconnected world. The last decade has witnessed unprecedented disruptions arising from climate change, pandemics, technological transformations, geopolitical conflicts, and social inequalities. These challenges have demonstrated that sustainability is no longer merely about minimizing harm; it is about building systems capable of adapting, responding, and thriving amid adversity.
Resilience refers to the capacity of organizations, communities, and economies to anticipate, absorb, and recover from shocks while maintaining long-term viability. Responsibility emphasizes ethical leadership, stakeholder engagement, social accountability, and sustainable governance practices that balance economic objectives with societal and environmental well-being. Regeneration goes beyond sustainability by advocating business models that actively restore ecosystems, strengthen communities, and create net-positive impacts for future generations.
Through this theme, ICSB2027 seeks to encourage dialogue on how organizations can move from resilience to regeneration by integrating innovation, inclusion, ethical governance, digital transformation, circular economy principles, and sustainable development goals into their strategies. The conference aspires to foster actionable knowledge that helps businesses and societies transition toward more equitable, adaptive, and regenerative futures.
The Conference Organizing Committee (COC) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of Code of Conduct and to supporting ethical research practices. All published articles to contain clear and accurate attribution of authorship. It is the responsibility of the author to ensure that all authors that contributed to the work are fairly acknowledged and that the published author list accurately reflects individual contributions. COC shall take every effort to ensure that editors, peer reviewers, and scrutiny committees shall treat all submissions respectfully, in confidence, and in accordance with standard ethical guidelines. COC expects that all individuals submitting manuscripts to this conference shall abide by established publishing standards and ethics.
Selection of articles, for possible publication, will have a three stages elimination process. In the first stage, an internal scrutiny committee will first check relevance and appropriateness of each article, according to the decided theme and sub-themes of the conference. Secondly, all articles will go through mandatory similarity/ plagiarism check using Turnitin. Articles having a similarity percentage less than 15 % will be sent to the next stage. In the third stage, all the articles passing through previous two stages, will be sent for double-blind review. Articles, after removing authors’ identity, will be sent to two subject experts (outside the host organisation), who are minimum Associate Professors. Subject to availability, attempts will be made to get at least 40 percent reviewers from abroad. Authors will be finally asked to incorporate the suggested changes/ revisions, if asked by any/ both reviewers.
